The Views are Breathtaking

It’s always stunningly beautiful in Tahoe South, but there’s just something extra majestic about looking out at the lake and seeing those snow-capped peaks against the azure hue of Lake Tahoe.

It’s Not Too Cold for a Winter Wedding in Tahoe

Winters in Tahoe are not like winters in, say, the Midwest. The sun is out most of the time, the skies are brilliant blue, and most importantly, the average daytime temperature during the winter in Tahoe is in the forties. (And did I mention it’s sunny?) So, if you and your love muffin are the outdoorsy type, it’s definitely not out of the question to have an outdoor winter wedding in Tahoe. Just think about providing some cozy blankets for your warm-weather guests.

You Can Get Married at Your Favorite Tahoe Ski Resort

And speaking of the great outdoors, Tahoe is home to more than 12 ski resorts, which makes it a perfect destination for couples that are winter sport enthusiasts to tie the knot. Why not exchange vows on the slopes among the clouds at 10,000 feet?

Oh, the themes. From ski lodge casual to ice sculpture sophisticated, the ambiance can glow like a fireside or sparkle like a snowman in the sun. And distinctive reception perks, like gourmet hot chocolate and glass icicle favors, are a unique and fun way to play out the winter theme. And who hasn’t dreamed of wearing a cozy fur stole with a crisp white wedding gown?
