“My husband and I chose the Landing Resort to celebrate our wedding in Lake Tahoe. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Michelle with a glass of champagne. WOW, what a first impression.
Throughout our stay, both Michelle and Trevor continually offered suggestions on places to go and experiences they thought we would enjoy. Every suggestion they offered was absolutely amazing. The service was five-star hands-down.
To top it off, on our wedding night, Michelle sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers along with a lovely letter of congratulations. I have to say this was the best experience at a hotel resort we’ve ever shared. Thank you, Michelle and Trevor, for making our stay so special!”

A Wedding Anniversary to Remember at The Landing Lake Tahoe Resort & Spa
“We were celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary in the very city we met 10 years ago. It was a special trip for us. The entire staff made our stay more enjoyable than we could have imagined.
We were picked up by Josh after being dropped off at Harvey’s by the airport shuttle. He not only helped us with our bags but welcomed us with champagne. He was great!
We arrived early, and our room was not available, so we headed to Jimmy’s bar to grab a bite to eat and relax. We had the best time conversing with Steve(n) and, later, Matt. Matt took great care of us! We ordered a bottle of wine and a cheese board and enjoyed listening to Matt as he educated us on different types of wine.
Later that night, we headed into Heavenly Village and had the pleasure of driving with Ryan. He dropped us off and picked us up. Again, another staff member treated us like family.
Our dinner on Friday night at Jimmy’s restaurant was absolutely amazing. We requested that Matt be our server and were seated at one of, if not the best, tables in the restaurant. We were treated to a champagne toast to celebrate and continued onto a bottle of wine recommended by Matt. Our meal was delicious and perfectly planned.
On our last day, we headed to the spa for a couples massage and had a wonderful time. Michelle checked us out upon leaving and was great with every phone call I made to her during our stay!

“We had our micro wedding here, and it was amazing. Through all the pandemic and management changes, Blair was excellent with communication and kept us updated. Katie was our coordinator, and it was a perfect match. She was attentive and took control when needed. It was just what I needed and wanted.
The food was all vegan and absolutely the best wedding food ever. We had so many compliments on all of it!
I let Katie decorate pretty much with our decor, and it was perfect. I highly recommend letting go and letting them do their thing.
The vendors were equally amazing. All of our flowers, hair and makeup, DJ, and photography were excellent and easy to work with. The staff were also amazing.

“We attended an outdoor wedding & indoor reception at Tahoe Ridge Resort, and the setting was just gorgeous! Even though the wedding was in September, Stateline/South Lake Tahoe got snow a few days before the wedding, so it was really, really unexpectedly cold for a September wedding.
Regardless, the ceremony was short & beautiful, & the backdrop of pine trees and mountains was breathtaking. Definitely plan for abrupt weather changes if you’re getting married here, & perhaps warn your guests to check the weather & dress accordingly. Regardless, this venue is unbeatable & worth braving the unexpected cold.
Inside the Club House, where the reception was held, we were treated to a warm roaring fire & a beautiful venue upstairs. The food was excellent, & the dance floor was huge, which made for a great party.”

“We decided to have our Fall wedding at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, and words can’t describe how happy I am that we did! It was a perfect location for a weekend getaway for families and friends, and when it came down to the wedding, the staff, food, and amenities exceeded our expectations!
The best part of choosing this venue, hands down, would be the event coordinator, Frankie! She is beyond awesome, and I really enjoyed working with her. She always returned emails immediately or phone calls, and whenever I was in doubt, she always reassured me that things were going to be ok. Her customer service is immaculate, and you can tell she really enjoys her job. On the day of our wedding, she was no different and treated us as if we were royalty!
Food: We chose the Zephyr buffet to feed our guests, and we received much praise for how wonderful the food was and the variety of selections! They even have a lechon (pig) as an option, and our Filipino families loved it! Everything was delicious, and the creme brûlée was my favorite! I was so excited to hear that we could substitute that instead of cake because we are not big cake people. The complimentary buffet for breakfast was even good at the hotel, and plenty of options there as well.
Rooms: We were given the Heavenly Suite with a balcony, and it was super nice! Very clean, fireplace, amazing view, comfy bed…no complaints there.
Location: Right in the heart of Tahoe at Heavenly Village, with pretty much everything in walking distance. This was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel as our venue as well. Close to the casinos, restaurants, shopping. It is a drive to the lake but only an easy 5-10 minutes.
Staff: Super friendly staff and very attentive. Even during breakfast always taking a plate and greeting guests with smiles. During our wedding, the staff were all helpful and nice, and we had plenty of guests tell us how great the staff was!
Overall, this was the perfect hotel for our reception, and everyone involved went above and beyond our expectations. The ballroom looked beautiful, and we will now always have memories here. Thank you, Frankie and Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, for an amazing wedding weekend!”

“My husband and I just got married at Beach Retreat this August. The staff was amazingly helpful, kind, and friendly. Our wedding day went off without a hitch.
We stayed in their Honeymoon suite, and the room was large, clean, and fully stocked with towels, water, and coffee.
This location has everything; a playful tiki bar, a delicious boathouse restaurant, and a sports bar that hosted our after-party. We received so many compliments from guests professing this was “the best wedding they have ever been to”.
The beach is clean, and the water is crystal clear. Plenty of water activity opportunities take off right from their dock.
