What months are best for a winter wedding?

Lake Tahoe is known for beautifully unpredictable mountain weather, and winter is no exception. While we’ve recorded snowfalls in every month of the year, we’ve also gone weeks (if not months!) without snowfall in the past. There’s no bad time to plan a winter wedding in Lake Tahoe, but there are no guarantees for your perfect conditions either. Late November, December, January, and February are typically considered our snowiest season.

Members of the Beach Retreat’s planning team pride themselves in making a couple feel as though their wedding is the most important thing the team is doing that day (because, according to them, it is!). The resort is also a great place for holiday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties and rehearsal dinners.
