Colored wedding dresses… if you remember our post about 2019’s top six wedding trends from earlier this year, you might not remember that they didn’t make the list. But as we round out the last couple months of the twenty-teens, color is rolling in as the reigning queen—at least when it comes to wedding dresses. And we couldn’t be more thrilled about it. After all, Tahoe South weddings are about trying something new. So scroll on, dear readers, and see the surprises in store for your wild side this wedding season.
Incredible Red

Does your personality tend to be on the beautifully bold side? If so, a red wedding gown, regardless of the shade, will be the ultimate expression of your edgy amazingness (not to mention it so happens to be the official color of love). Go for it, girl.
Unexpected Teal

On our hunt for teal colored wedding dresses, we ran into tons of dusty hues in muted tones. All of them certainly beautiful and undeniably sweet. But nothing quite captured the confident, irresistible vibrancy of this little number. Yeah, teal, you take the cake.

Where do we begin with this warmly wonderful romantic work of art? The color blocking alone is enough to send us swooning. Then there’s the modest yet magnificently flattering cut. All this and his shoes match it, too.
Dazzling Lavender

This colored wedding dress has it all… lavenders, lilacs, violets and even amaranthine (if you know what that means). We say, if purple is the color of royalty, this dress must’ve been made for a fairy princess, indeed.
Quintessential Coral

Honestly, who wouldn’t want to say I do to this masterpiece of a wedding gown? The little-girl-playing-dress-up vibe is the best part. The color’s just the icing on the cake (but, hey, there’s an idea!).
Prettiest Pink

The combination of the fitted, backless, laced-up bodice and cascading dusty pink skirting makes this perhaps the most romantic design we’ve seen in a colored wedding dress. Side note on the hair: Perf.
